Why Are Gas Prices So High?

just wondering if any1 knows when the gas prices are coming down, just had my bill in and got a nasty shock!!! I remember it being on the news months ago but i dont think any change has happened except for the price being raised.

1. I am afraid that very rarely does the price of what goes up, come down. Once they have got it they tend to keep it. Your best course of action would be to go to Uswitch, and change suppliers. That seems to be only way to make them take notice. Thats what worries me about the talk of charging for dustbin collections, they say our council tax will go down. I dont believe them!!!!
2. Ask yourself this: have they ever come down and stayed down? Well, no. The prices go up not only because of OPEC output but also because of the global trend of the prices of everything going up. Inflation comes to mind. Don't keep your hopes raised. They may temporarily come down but overall they here to stay and go even higher.

4. The price to the gas companies came down months ago, but, as usual, they left the prices high, they also got people on fixed prices, then when the cost came down, people on fixed price were worse off. They are all plc companies, only money and the shareholders matter!
