Why does everyone blame Bush for high gas prices ?
Why does everyone blame Bush for high gas prices ? does everyone think that Obama or Clinton will bring them down? (I dont think so i am pretty sure they own a few oil wells somewhere also.)

- It is a little suspicious that Bush has so many strong oil connections and that the oil industries are reaping such huge profits. However, you're right, I don't blame Bush; it's mainly a matter of supply and demand, and the world supply is declining. The Saudis are pretending that their current drop in supply is voluntary in order to raise prices, but in fact they have triple the number of oil wells operating that they did five years ago. The oil's starting to run out. Alternative energy, anyone?
- Everybody needs a scapegoat .
- Self lack of knowledge. Instead of throwing pots and pans at the one hollering "Charge of the light calvary". Who fell into the coffin got himself nail back into the coffin as casualty of the dead Mummy with empty skeleton of skull and bones that backfired on themselves. While others were at loss and blurr out there. With great dreams that poof into thin air. That turn into smokes and ashes. With "Smokes get in your eyes" All over a one man's great dreams. As king of the jew with crown of thorns and two empty hands with two balls. Revealation 16.14 What do you think?
- Bush has strong Oil connections and the fact at any time George W Bush could have proposed a law that all auto makers must make cars that run on alternative fuels such as Used Cooking oil witch by the way in the United States we through more gallons of it away then we used gallons of oil.
- because he's the president. just like president arroyo from philippines. she's to blame why there are price increases here in the philippines.
- I don't blame George Bush, I blame Ronald Reagan. Back in the 70s when the price of oil first went through the roof, there was the first efforts to develop petroleum alternatives. That's where synthetic motor oil came from. However the oil companies pressured Ronald Reagan to put further development to rest because they had lots of oil in the ground to sell. So research in petroleum alternatives stopped. Now today, imagine if we had a 30 year jump on alternatives to oil.
- Has it occured to anyone the reason for the rising gas prices is the ever increasing demand on the ever deminishing supply of oil? Oil fields are't going to last forever. Resources are starting to decline. Thus prices go up & up, & you'll see more wars.
- He freaking destroyed the economy. Factors: -He almost doubled the national debt -He cut interest rates, a stupid short sighted way to deal with things -He printed money and threw it into the money markets=inflation But its not entirely his fault, which I hate to admit. Well, at least the housing crisis isn't. One thing is for sure: He can't handle a debt/spending economy properly which is all the US economy is.
- Smart people don't, Its all about supply and demand, China Demands more gas and they bid higher prices. Which sqeezes supply because they need so much oil
- because you average MORONS who are led by MORONS actually believe that the president controls random crap like the price of gasoline...i agree with the guy above...everyone needs a scapegoat...but president bush is the scapegoat for EVERYTHING...it's kind of interesting to see what you're going to blame him for next
