Why Are Gas Prices So High?

Why do people vote for the party McCain? When during the last 8 years we got high gas prices, recession, war?

trickle down economics, fewer jobs, lack of good health care, lack of improvements in health care against deadly diseases, etc.

This is biased.... high gas prices were going to happen regardless of who won, how many times do you people need to be reminded the ENTIRE WORLD has high gas prices, which has nothing to do with out government? Same with the recession, in fact a majority of this adjustable mortgages started under CLINTON because he was pushing for more home ownership! The war is all W's fault.... and a congress that approved it and funding for 5 years. FEWER JOBS? We have some of the lowest unemployment on the planet! Health care is great if you can afford it

They come here with noting and in a year or two are buying a home, have a new car, nice clothes and off of welfare, section #8, and NO government assistance or favoritism what soever. Whats the difference between the immigrant and the USA born? They WORK and aren't the lazies in society. Teach your kids welfare, section 8, and all the food stamp gimmicks and that is what your kids will be. Teach them to work, take care of themselves and they will have plenty in the USA. Who gives a care what party wins. For the winners, it makes ZERO difference. Be a winner not a complainer and quite your mumbling about some party going to make things better for you because they are NOT going to do that at all. Lots of BS in Obama, Clinton and McCain. That's politics. Congress still controls this country and the individual controls his/her life.
7. That is because they are not looking at the whole picture of what's been going on. If they did they would see that the same thing that we are doing in Irac and what McCain and company are trying to do is being done to us here in America by our own Government. We the people are paying all the taxes to promote this war, not McCain or the government. If the people would just look in their pockets, bank accounts, their kitchen table, and pay checks, then they will see who really is profitting off this war and why. All it is ,is just lack of knowledge.

High gas prices were caused by the liberals by prohibiting the oil companies from drilling on US territory, if they could drill we'd be totally independent on all sources for oil We have good health care, that's why so many European and Canadians come to the US for care. We have more medical colleges & research labs than other country in the free world We have 48 months of the greatest amount of growth under Bush than we had under any other president. When Bush leaves office you'll have to find someone else to bash, here's hoping it's McCain, then you can keep bashing the Republicans. One can tell you're a uneducated Liberal

Democrats have to recognize that since the 73rd Congress in 1933, for a majority of THE LAST 65 YEARS, Democratic Houses of Representatives and Democratic Senates have CONTROLLED the nation and the President. A TOTAL of 38 Sessions with Democrats in CONTROL for 28 of those! WE need to inform/TELL our political representatives that WE NEED TO PASS a Constitutional Amendment for the LINE ITEM VETO. This will keep the SPECIAL INTEREST GARBAGE from being attached to valuable legislation. If Congress wants to give the president that power, they will have to pass a constitutional amendment, Supreme Justice John Paul Stevens said. "If there is to be a new procedure in which the president will play a different role in determining the text of what may become a law, such change must come not by legislation but through the amendment procedures set forth in Article V of the Constitution," Stevens said, on June 25th, 1998. IF your special interest is SO valuable, why do you have to HIDE it in valuable legislation? So, with them REFUSING to PASS the Line Item Veto, in reality, the House and Senate have REALLY been controlling the country!! AND, with the CURRENT Senate and Congress having the WORST approval rating in HISTORY, hopefully we will see a LOT of changes after the general elections. A recent Reuters poll is out and Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid have pulled an upset: They have managed to make George Walker Bush twice as popular as CONGRESS. RECENTLY - - JUST 13% of Likely Voters now say the DEMOCRATICALLY CONTROLLED Congress is doing a good or excellent job. A recent Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey found that 43% give Congress a poor rating. Those results represent a slight decrease from the previous month, when 15% gave Congress a good or excellent rating. Democrats generally believe in heavy fines for honest work, while rewarding sloth and indulgence. Do YOU think that people should be able to do absolutely nothing productive and get government hand-outs for sloth and indulgence - healthcare, tobacco, alcohol, drugs, STDs, etc. ?? Do YOU want to have YOUR MONEY TAKEN from YOU and YOUR FAMILY to FINANCE these people ??? .
