Why Are Gas Prices So High?

Has anyone noticed this about gas prices?

When it was a republican controlled house and senate , it took six years for the prices of gas to double, Now that is all Dem. it only took two, might i mention the lowest approval rating in the history of the house.

1. both parties are completely worthless... but "mericans" love this crap... they love their false leaders. They're getting ready to decide between a couple more phoneys... Many americans have abused wife syndrome, they love getting beat up by their dirtbag demorepublicrap politicians.
2. There happens to be THREE oil people in the WH. I would personally say that it has TRIPLED since this has happened.
3. All congress can do is do away with the fed gas tax. Neither party controls the price of gas. But I will agree that this dem led congress is the worst in the history of this nation
4. Well the gas prices just keep going up and yes I heard pretty soon $4.50 to $5.00 I've been hearing about gas on the news the other day!!

It's not a matter of what party is in the house, it's that we let foreign countries walk all over us.....an remember it's not the President who has to go pump his last few dollars into his pump hoping it gets him through till payday....It's YOU and ME, the ones who make ok money, but still don't have enough money to not have to worry about the prices of gas....Mr. President doesn't have to worry...
10. "they", whoever they are, are saying gas will be at $7/gallon in the near future. What is the guy with muslim ties going to do to help us? Maybe we can swing from tree to tree to get to work.

Our Politicians, and OUR CONGRESS are a big, big part of this Country's PROBLEMS be it gas prices, the mortgage fiasco, etc. I must also add that with this new "Cap & Trade" bill being debated, SHOULD this become reality we citizens are literally screwed as it will vastly INCREASE gas prices further, vastly INCREASE ALL PRICES. This "Cap & Trade" has been going on in some countries in Europe for a few years now and is a big, big BUST........it DOES NOT WORK, it just creates wealth for a few. WHAT DOES CONGRESS NOT GET!!!!! OUST any that are for such a crap bill. This will NOT do anything for the switch over of viable alternatives, or not do anything for new technoligies that this Country desperately needs. It will ultimately create Company's moving out of this Country, thus more job loss, etc. I could go on and on. I just can't believe what "some" of our corrupt Politicians will do to cause the downfall of this great Nation.
12. I agree but that's only a very small part of it. I used to sell bulk fuel and you would not believe all the people that have their hands in it. I was one of them. The people to blame for your price increase are all on wall street. They claim to base the price of off supply and demand. That is not the case anymore, no matter what they claim. I left the business because it is so corrupt.
13. Blaim Bush for the gas price hike. It was his stupid policies that drove the whole worldinto recession and high gas price. I hope he loose all the profit he and his family oil business has made from his war baby.
