will gas prices ever go down in the near future?
Public Comments
- NO
- goodness gracious, I really hope so. This is getting ridicules.
- Eventually. When Bush sent troops to Iraq before 9/11, to secure oil manufacturing in east to west relations, gas was cheap. Now it's like 3 bucks a gallon. Eventually, cars will run on Vegetable oil, either that or carbon.
- You tell me. Nobody knows.
- Not in the near future. The people who make cars are in with the four companies that refine gas. When gas was cheap, everyone bought big, gas-guzzling cars. Once everyone had one of them, their buddies in the refining industry merge and cut down refining capacity and jack up the prices. Now they are making a killing, and the car manufactures are going to make money when people throw away their big cars and buy new, smaller cars that get good mileage. It's all a scam. Once everyone has a little economical car, they'll jack up the capacity again and the cycle will start over.
- Gas will be $5.00 a gallon by summer 2007
- apparently, looking closely at our rise in economics, gas prices are where they SHOULD be. we, as americans, can afford it. it's just that we'd like to spend it on OTHER THINGS, like FOOD, yum xD
- From what I have read the price is based on a supply and demand system. The manufacturers are not going to make more because they are getting a premium price for what they already make. When the ethanol supply chain gets up and running the price may drop a little. The gvmt is in bed with the producers so don't expect any help from them. Who do you think supplies the millions of dollars to run a campaign.
- HELL NO
- I wish but i don't think so unless we as a society decide to do something to change it
- when pigs fly, and my sister ever gets a date then it will go down
- Not with Bush as President
- probaly not b-cuz if he plains on blowing up iraq then that will only make it worst.
- put you'r but to you'r gas hole fill her up
- Nope, better buy a bicycle while they're still cheap.
- no thanks for the points
