Why Are Gas Prices So High?

Which little trucks get the best gas mileage?

I currently drive a 4cyl 2.3L automatic '95 Ford Ranger with 206,000 miles. It gets around 23mpg city and 25-27mpg highway and I'd like to eventually buy another truck that gets about the same when (or if) this baby dies on me. So do the new 4 cylinder Rangers still get around the same kind of gas mileage? Should I look into the 2.2L 4cyl Chevy S-10's?

  1. 2008 Ford Ranger 2WD Reg Cab 112" Sport EPA Fuel Economy Est - City (MPG) 16 EPA Fuel Economy Est - Hwy (MPG) 22 They don't make the S-10 new since 2004 so you would need to look for a used one but go with the GMC Sonoma 4.3 because the 2.2 just doesn't have enough power, here are some specs on full size trucks as well.
