Why Are Gas Prices So High?

Best 4X4 or AWD SUV with V6 and decent gas mileage?

I'm looking for an SUV. I've been considering the Saturn Vue with 3.5L Honda engine but looking at other options. I live in Wisconsin so I really want a 4X4 or AWD. I can't stand whimpy cars but I'd also like to get decent gas mileage. Maybe like 18 city, 25 highway would be good. Budget is at most 15,000. It would be nice to get it around 12,000 though.

3. get an used honda crv, or toyota rav4 although new england doesn't get as much snow as WIS, but we still get alot.
