Why Are Gas Prices So High?

Are gas prices going to decrease any time in the near future???

I drive a 3/4 ton 4x4 quad-cab Dodge Hemi...I get about 10 mpg if I'm lucky. I love my truck, but it's times like these that I wish I drove a freakin' Ford Focus or something. Geeez. Sooo...are gas prices going down soon???? They can't stay like this forever...can they???

  1. I remember when people freaked out when the gas was getting up to 60 cents per liter. They hoped it would go down. And now it's 1,49 per liter... go figure
  2. yes they can and they will to. i think they are goin higher than this, so save up so you can get to work
  3. Of course gas prices cannot remain this high, and yes they will come down. At least I think so. Already we are seeing some relief at the pump with crude prices dropping nearly $20 a barrel in a week or so. I don't think we are out of the woods yet with regard to gas prices. But I think it's perfectly reasonable to expect $100 a barrel oil in the next 12 months or so. http://www.myspace.com/jimbauer601
  4. The price of crude oil dropped a little (now down to about $125 from the high of $140). Also during the summer olympics, china will try to limit the use of cars to ease the traffic. So there will be a slight dip in the price. TEMPORARILY. good luck...
  5. i dont think prices are ever coming down a couple of cents her and there but they will go up again.we gots to get used to 5.00 a gallon, regardless of whos sitting in the white house.i drive a navigator and its really hurting me bad,but i got a big family so what can i do =..<
  6. the supply of gas is decreasing, the demand is increasing, so i feel its only going to get worse. not to worry, soon we will have electric cars. i hope.
  7. the prices is going up and up but it will go down when the world crashed.
  8. Just enough to make $3.75 a gallon look like a bargain. I complain and I drive cars that get 30MPG city/hwy combined.
  9. their already going down to my surprise they dropped 20 cents in one day here in our home town, that was the biggest drop in it that we have seen happen in a long time, hopefully you,ll see a drop in them also, good luck.
